Once again I have a few links to share that may interest you.....
You may or may not agree with the New York Times' editorial positions, but one thing they are great at is providing in-depth articles about everything else under the sun. I found a couple over the weekend about red wine and cyclocross.
Here’s to the Benefits of Red Wine, but Don’t Advertise Them
You will want to read beyond the headline because it addresses the effects of red wine on health and endurance. There are some laboratory mice kicking ass in the kilometer run due to a component of red wine, resveratrol. Get you some!
Cyclocross Is Colorful. Mud-Colored, That Is.
The NYT couldn't have picked a better event to get muddy and colored up. There's a great slide show included with pictures of racing action and fans partying.
Eurobike shelves US trade show
This is a good move that will actually benefit everyone. I've been in industries where there are simply too many similarly related trade shows. In the end it waters down all the events because it stretches the manufacturers and retailers too thin. All the while the only people making money are the trade show organizers and hosts.
Simply Pilates Nashville
I went back for another class. You have to go and experience it for yourself. Cyclists rely heavily on their core muscle group, and this studio will help you strengthen that area like nothing else.
Bush Transforms Into Avid Mountain Biker
Now he's tooling around on a $5,000 Cannondale. Must be nice to get those Presidential gifts huh.
Heras complains about lack of access to doping results
I have probably assumed too much that his silence since testing positive was an indication of guilt. Although, he's got a point.
Tyler Hamilton, returning from doping ban, signs contract with new team
Ok, now maybe everyone can move on. However, what does this comment by Tyler really mean? "Mistakes have been made and the price I had to pay was very high....."
