A few days ago I put together an exhaustive array of photos from collegiate mountain bike nationals and forwarded them to Cyclingnews. I contacted their USA rep and offered what I have, and he was enthusiastic about me sending my pictures to help promote the collegiate event. I ended up sending 20 emails with each having about five pictures attached. I anxiously awaited for them to be posted, keeping fingers crossed, and on Sunday it finally happened!

Each day's event has photos within the news report. I did my best to identify riders, mostly from the southeastern conference, but because I didn't have a start list to work from there are many I didn't know. Under normal guidelines from Cyclingnews this would pose a problem, but they were gracious enough to develop captions for some that I did not. A big thank you to Cyclingnews for doing this work for me!

I have some of my own personal favorites. The view from mountain cross event is amazing. I loved a sticker on the helmet of one female downhiller. My favorite was easily the one involving duct tape and a bike trailer, which was acquired on our way back home. I'll make you search for that one, but just know that I didn't even share the best part of their creativity! I'll just say it involved requests to view a portion of the female anatomy and leave it at that. Those boys don't want that posted across the globe with the official university sticker identifiable on the van door!
