Here's a little heads up about the upcoming issue of VeloNews which should hit the stands next week. I am told the cover will have Ryan Trebon covered in mud to highlight his victory at the 2006 Crank Brothers U.S. Gran Prix of Cyclocross. That's not really the heads up because if you check out the collegiate mountain bike nationals report you'll see two photos published attributed to yours truly.

I can finally get out of the website business and move into my real passion, photography! Yeah right. Anyway, I'm not sure exactly which two were used, but I only ended up sending about five different ones. One of their editors saw my photos from collegiate nationals on Cyclingnews and then emailed me looking to use some of my shots for their upcoming issue.

Needless to say it was a surprising email requesting use of my pictures, but I was certainly flattered by the opportunity. They had specific requests to compliment their write-up, and fortunately I had a couple that fit their needs appropriately. So look for the new issue with Trebon on the cover and buy a copy!
