Ride of Silence

This speaks to me in many different ways.....

Ride of Silence

Visit the site and read the history behind the event. The ride takes place on May 17 at 7:00 PM, and at this point there are 120 cities across America holding a ride.

Locally the only option is in Murfreesboro, but I strongly believe the great city of Nashville should hold one as well. In fact, every major city in Tennessee should be holding a Ride of Silence.

Personally, I fall into the category of people this ride is aiming to bring recognition towards. Fortunately to this point in my life I have not directly known someone killed by a vehicle, but I do know quite a few who have been injured. My guess is most of you know someone as well.

I am willing to pour my time and energy into making it happen. To the point, who else is interested in joining the effort?

Let's organize one in Nashville. There are many roads in this area that need to see cyclists.
