Coffee shop blogging

It's back, the traveling coffee shop blog. We're live from Banner Elk, North Carolina as we're enjoying mochas at Mona's Starlight Cybercafe. There's no better way to relax before an afternoon criterium.

No doubt Mona's gets a thumbs up. The mocha was great and there's wireless internet, which is a must have with the CU squad. Usually I make certain we stay at a hotel with wireless, but this incredible ski resort we're at doesn't have internet. No worries since the area has enough distractions to keep you away from the computer, except for now.

A couple of other things of note from Velonews....

1 - Saul Raisin's recovery is at least non-life threatening at this point, but the Credit Agricole team doctor says there is some brain damage. However, they're unsure of the extent of the damage at this point. Continue to send your thoughts and prayers his way.

2 - There's an exit interview with Gerard Bisceglia about his dismissal from USA Cycling. Based upon his words, one sided I am aware, the whole lot of them should be dismissed. Bust up the good ole' boy system and put some people in charge who will move the organization forward.
