Saul Raisin in coma
Dalton, Georgia native Saul Raisin of Credit Agricole was involved in a serious crash during stage one of the Circuit de la Sarthe. Saul's injuries worsened quickly as he suffered brain hemorrhaging which led doctors to induce him into a coma. By inducing Saul into a coma the doctors hope to stabilize his condition and relieve the pressure on his brain.

The Velonews report is the most sobering and disheartening to read. I know there are many racers in this area who are friends with Saul and grew up racing against him.
