Eddie George on a bike

Former Tennessee Titans running back and Heisman Trophy winner Eddie George will be participating in the 3rd Annual Tour de Nash on Saturday, May 20. The ride is organized and promoted by Walk/Bike Nashville and Music City Moves.

There is a free 4-mile walk into downtown, and free 6 or 12 mile bike rides through the Shelby Bottoms Greenway area. There are longer bike tours available with 31 and 62 mile options, but they are not free since those have rest routes with support.

I don't know which event Eddie will be participating, but it would be a good chance to meet him and have a picture taken. Previous year's turnout has been in the 500 range, but with Eddie's involvement let's hope the Tour de Nash sets a record.
