840 South reaches last link
This is not good news for those of us who enjoy the roads out past Leiper's Fork and Thompson Station, but TDOT has finalized the last South link through Williamson County. It looks like those unfinished 840 bridges are now about to get used.
This route was supposedly approved by a "Citizen Resource Team" and reduces the effect on local property owners, protects burial grounds, and uses more TDOT areas already in use.

Hopefully tomorrow's online edition will also include a map for us to see how all our great training roads will be affected. Bending Chestnut, Carters Creek and Garrison Creek are all mentioned in the article. How they are or are not affected isn't spelled out completely.
We are one more step closer to becoming Atlanta. Lovely isn't it?
