Georgia seeking plate
From Bicycle Retailer we learn Georgia Bikes is making significant progress in obtaining a Share the Road cultural license plate. They've been at it for only one month and already have received 408 applications. They must receive 1,000 applications by the end of 2007 in order to achieve the minimum set by the state of Georgia. Sound familiar?

Word has it there are a few here in Nashville working towards reviving our Share the Road license plate campaign here in Tennessee. I am interested in learning more about their progress, so if anyone involved would contact me I'd like to help in whatever way possible. My understanding of the law from our previous attempt was we were out of luck for the future if we didn't make the goal. One and done so to speak, but I hope my interpretation of the law is wrong.
If we were to start today from scratch I am certain we could reach 1,000. Armed with our prior experience, a more potent marketing ability, and the exposure NashvilleCyclist.com now enjoys it would be an easier objective to achieve. What say you?
