Top trails of 2005

Trails.com announced the top 100 trails of 2005 based upon popularity and usage. Over 10 million votes were tallied over the course of 2005 to come up with this extensive list. Most were for hiking as the top mountain bike trail did not rank until #14, which is the American River Bike Path in Sacramento, California.

It wasn't until #35 for Tennessee to arrive with the hiking trail of Clingman's Dome Overnight Loop in Gatlinburg, Tennessee. We ranked on the hiking trail again with #87 in Waynesville at the Maddron Bald Overnight Loop.

None of our mountain bike trails made the top 100 cut, but go HERE to search the state of Tennessee. It's a very informative website for outdoor enthusiasts.
