TBRA leadership changes
Sunday marked the annual membership meeting for TBRA (aka Tennessee Bicycle Racing Association) clubs, and this year elections were held for all board leadership positions. Each board position is changing hands, but each person has experience and has been involved with TBRA and/or racing in some capacity.
New board members are:
President - Todd Nordmeyer
Vice President - Ian Lochridge
Treasurer - Jill Martindale
Secretary - Robin Farina
Road Director - Vickie Mackzum
Mountain Director - Theresa Moore
Points Director - Bill Parsons
The last few years TBRA has made some great strides in organizational consistency, and with the latest election I believe even more will be accomplished. Today's meeting also mapped out a potential race schedule for 2006, but none are confirmed dates at this point.
Todd and the rest of the board is eager to get input from all clubs and racers throughout the state. If you want to be heard then use the TBRA forum. It is the best place to get your opinions heard and discussed. Believe me, the forum gets read by board leadership and all ideas are taken seriously.
There will be an annual TBRA board meeting within a few months that will address those ideas and allow everyone another opportunity to have their voices heard. So light up the forum to ensure your concerns are addressed.
