Coffee shop blog

It's a fact, cyclists love coffee. Truthfully speaking I'm a freak about it. So when you come across this red light.............you stop! Coffee Street will get my attention every time.

Fortunatley I had been to downtown Greenville before and knew to go back to this place. Coffee Underground is appropriately located on Coffee Street, and it's name fits the location. Cozy underground atmosphere, delicious desserts, and great mochas!More than likely I'll continue this portion of the blog and report on different coffee shops I stumble across. Any town I travel to I make sure to scout out the local coffee shop scene. Everyone knows about the local Starbucks (say what you want about SB, but I like them too!), but the more interesting scene is found at independent shops.

For a great indy shop with fantastic coffee, great conversation, and cyclist friendly (the owner is a 100 mile trail runner and 24 hour solo mountain bike racer) check out DoubleShot Coffee company http://doubleshotcoffee.com/

Buy on Tuesday's and get $2 off a pound of fresh roasted beans!
