Season ending

After today’s race my season is officially over. I ended up doing 24 total races this year, which is the most I’ve done since 2002. Now it’s time to shut my body down for awhile and do nothing for about 3 weeks. I want to keep riding and enjoy the upcoming beautiful weather, but if I don’t rest now I’ll wish I had later. The timing will be perfect for when we officially start the winter training rides from the Airplane Fields.

I have some important things to work on and get done anyway. There’s a lot to accomplish here at Cumberland, as well as staying more current with the website. I have had little to report or write about lately, which is normal for this time of year since the season is over. During this phase I work on more proactive news items like interviews and develop new ideas to improve the website.
