Goodbye 2006

December 31st, 2006 - As much as I'd like to spend time doing some reflective blogging I would much rather invest that energy looking ahead to the future. Who knows, maybe later today I'll get nostalgic, but I usually do that sort of thing on my own time.

Thanks to each one of you who visit my site and read my ramblings. Some of you know me and I appreciate hearing kind words about NashvilleCyclist, but for those I don't know I give you a hearty thanks as well. I don't do all this for my own indulgence, but rather for the enjoyment everyone else receives. I hope you continue visiting and please don't hesitate to contact me with your feedback.

For those of you going out this evening, please be responsible and think clearly about your decisions. There are 364 other days in the year to celebrate life so don't let this one night be your downfall. Most bicyclists I know are highly responsible people, leaders in their jobs, leaders in their communities, and someone that many others look up to.

Therefore, tonight, set good examples and get yourself and your friends home safely.

(plus, you must be fully functional for the group ride tomorrow at 1:00 PM!)

Happy New Year pedalcyclers ! ! !
