On the road again

We're traveling again this weekend to another collegiate mountain bike race. We're going back to Banner Elk, North Carolina, home of Lees-McRae College. This is our conference championships for the downhill and dual-slalom, so it'll be packed with crazy gravity racers. Those folks are cut from a different cloth!

If you remember in the spring we traveled to Banner Elk and I shared my Beech Mountain adventure. I hope to duplicate that feat, but hopefully I'll encounter better weather at the summit. I'll definitely take a camera this time. This trip also means I'll be spending time at Mona's Cyber Cafe for coffee and internet access. Oh, and plush accommodations at a ski resort loft on Sugar Mountain.

Sounds almost like a vacation doesn't it? Ha, I get paid for this!
