Eleven bottles of wine on the wall, eleven bottles of wine, take one down pass it around.....

Armstrong prepared for NYC marathon - He says his longest run so far is about 13 miles. The race is on November 5th, only about six weeks away.

Another Armstrong wins Women Worlds TT Championship - This despite dropping her chain. Not only did an American win, but American Christine Thorburn came in third as well. The men's TT is on Thursday.

Men's World Championship Road Race on Sunday

The annual 2 Hours from Anywhere race in Murphy, North Carolina will not take place this year. It normally takes place this coming weekend, but the organizer decided against a race this year. This would have been the 15th year of the event, but hopefully it'll resume next year. I've raced there twice and it boasts one of the best road race circuits of any race in the South.

The last race of the season in the Southeast is definitely a go this year. Go HERE for a flyer to the Greenville Classic held in Greenville, South Carolina on October 14 & 15. Check out the cash payouts for every category on Saturday, $2000! This will be my last race of the 2006 season. It's held in conjunction with the annual Fall for Greenville, which is a huge downtown festival that attracts over 20,000 people. This is another race I highly recommend if you can maintain racing fitness till mid-October.

I've ridden the Music City Star three times already as my previously mentioned Wednesday plan went off without a hitch. Check out The Tennessean report - First-day riders enjoy Music City Star trek. Evidently a lot of drivers in Mt. Juliet have a problem ignoring traffic warning signals that a train is coming. Seriously, who decides it's a good idea to try and beat a train?
