NEW - Video blogging !
I am adding a new feature to NashvilleCyclist.com that I hope becomes a regular feature on the site. I'll be utilizing the phenomenal website YouTube.com to upload video interviews and racing action from across the South! Like anything else I've attempted to do it will be a continual work-in-process, but my goal is to once again offer something unique that you can't find anywhere else.
I'm using a Sony Cyber-shot digital camera that shoots at 5.1 mega pixels with a 256mb memory card. Most of the videos I'll shoot will be in increments of two to five minutes since you can only upload 100mb at one time. I can take good still photos and moderately good video. The learning curve for understanding the camera is still a little steep, but it's even steeper when trying to edit the video using software I didn't even know I had! I realize there's better stuff out there (more expensive too!), but I'm running with what I have at this time. If I see it's a popular item then I'll look into ways of enhancing the feature.
So far I have completed one full interview and shot some collegiate mountain bike racing action in Banner Elk. I have plans to shoot more video footage as events happen, and if you have any suggestions as to what you'd like to see then please email me.
In the meantime go HERE to check out NashvilleCyclist.com on YouTube.com.

ah ha!
Thanks for the interview Tim. I hope that I will prove to be a satisfactory guine pig! Turned out great - can't wait to see the next video blog. I'll keep in touch.
Rally On!
