What a day....

Not much to report about the last few days, so instead I'll rub this in.....today my training plan calls for 4 hours on the bike. Oh, have you looked outside? It's only 60 degrees. Hope to see you on the road, but if not, hate your luck. :)

ed. update - What a ride! I left Elmington Park and took the usual Saturday morning BToGS route out onto Carters Creek. I battled a head wind for 2 hours and turned off Carters Creek at Theta, but instead of going up Theta hill I went right onto Fairview Rd. There's a nice hill on Fairview too as I went into Boston for a liquid pit stop.

It was under the canopy at the market in Boston that I realized the wind gods would be with me back into Nashville. Leipers Creek to Hwy 96 proved to be f-a-s-t with the fierce nudging of the wind from behind. Wanting another hill I rode over to Hester Beasley and then back on Hwy 100 to West End.

I accomplished my specific workout objectives during the ride too which took more out of me than expected. The route provided exactly 4 hours on the nose for this fajita dreaming pedalcyclist. Too bad you couldn't join me.
