Turkey burning take 2

As I rolled down the Boulevard to Percy Warner my question was answered pretty quickly. I saw 2 people tooling around looking lonely, and I'm sure they were wondering if the adverstised time was true. I thought, "No way, surely to goodness it won't be just a threesome." I knew the morning chill would scare off a few too many, but within 5 minutes several others showed up and rounded out the ride to an even 10 people.

So we know of at least 10 people who gained fitness today. One of those 10 gaining fitness was NashvilleCyclist.com diarist Zach Bolian. He's home from Furman and taking advantage of the week long break to visit his family.

As I've mentioned before, if you have the right clothing then this type of weather is nothing to overcome. Granted it's much easier when there's very little clouds and a lot of sun, but don't let the temp gauge dictate your day. Also, this type of weather is perfect for keeping your efforts in check and forcing you to go at a slower steady pace.

Saturday's weather is supposed to be significantly warmer compared to Friday. I'm expecting a crowd in the high 30s to low 40s to take advantage of 50+ degree weather. There won't be many of these left, so get while the gettin' is good.
