Racing for BBQ !

You do NOT want to miss the final race of the NashvilleCyclist.com Criterium Race Series!

This Wednesday, August 23rd will be the ninth race of the series and should bring the summer to a festive close. The event starts out with a beginners and Juniors coaching clinic with Todd Nordmeyer that begins at 5:30 PM. Racing action heats up at 6:15 PM with the B race and 6:50 with the A race. There are still overall series podium spots to be determined which should make this week's racing action the hottest all summer.

After the races are complete the final points standings will be tallied and confirmed. We will be doing a semi-formal awards presentation for the night's winners and overall series winners. Please stick around and be patient because in the background of all this will have been the arrival and setup of what should be the nicest treat any bike racer could expect, Whitt's BBQ!

I have ordered enough food for 100 people, so this means I need for everyone to show up! We'll be having BBQ, slaw, baked beans and drinks. Oh yeah, it's FREE! So get ready to chow down and celebrate the end of what has been a great 2006 criterium series.
