Crit series update

I know many of you are wondering about the summer criterium series that was previously scheduled to start on Wednesday June 14th, but I have run into some snags in the plan. Monday morning I have a meeting planned with all of the parties involved regarding the Coliseum parking lot, oh wait, the LP Field parking lot.

The lots at the stadium have become a haven for every downtown entity looking for cheap or free parking. There a couple of situations that I have to address before we can hold any further races due to safety concerns. Unlike last year we now have transit buses and parked cars within the lot to contend with. Containing those vehicles consistently will require being on the same page with every stakeholder.

I hope to have the answers we need to move forward after the meeting, and if so then we'll start the races ASAP. Stay tuned for updates.
