Kat Carroll on NRC podium!

Our very own Katharine Carroll of Nashville nearly pulled off the biggest win of her career, but instead took 2nd place at the Reading Classic in Reading, PA. Teutenberg proved to be the stronger rider and won the sprint while Katharine brought home a well earned 2nd spot on the podium.

This week of racing is called the Commerce Bank Triple Crown, and culminates on Sunday with a women and men's race in Philadelphia. The Sunday event was previously the USPRO Championships, but the professional national championship has been moved to Greenville, SC later in the year.

Katharine and her Victory Brewing team will have their hands full with Teutenberg of T-Mobile and NRC points leader Tina Pic of Colavita-Cooking Light. Katharine and her teammates have been put up some impressive results this season, but winning Sunday's race would be the biggest feather yet.
