Guest diary contributors
I have been toying around with this idea for awhile, and today marks the first foray into having guest diarists contribute to the site. Gray Skinner of Nashville is traveling out west in AZ and CA, and I asked him to put together a short report on his experience so far. Gray provided a great story along with amazing pictures of his training in AZ which includes time with Gord Fraser and climbing Mt. Lemon countless times.
I plan to continue giving this idea space on the site and see where it leads. There are many non-professional cyclists out there who are living some incredible cycling experiences that all of you would enjoy reading. I know of many others who can provide this type of content, but it's a matter of squeezing that info from them at the right moment.
Give me time to cultivate this idea and I think you'll get the chance to read some wonderful content in the future. This will not be limited to racers either. I intend to provide stories from recreational riders who can offer a fresh perspective about a particular event or experience abroad. There's endless content, but it's a matter of finding it and filtering it for consumption.
In the meantime, please don't send me stories in hopes of it being posted. Just shoot me an email with an idea and I'll give it some thought. If it's meant to happen it will happen naturally and not contrived.
Start this off right by enjoying Gray's Arizona Altitude.
