Continued development
We all know real estate development in the Middle Tennessee area is encroaching upon many of our beloved scenic cycling roads. This is particularly true in the Williamson County/Franklin area, but now also into west Nashville and Bellevue. A road mentioned in today's Tennessean hits next door to Natchez Trace Parkway, McCrory Lane.
Read the article in the Davidson A.M. section. The growth mentioned is on the I-40 end of McCrory, but in all liklihood it will stretch its arms to the south near Loveless Cafe. Many of our rides go up the hill at McCrory and down Poplar Road hill towards Highway 100 and 96. Some development along the hill has already taken place, but this will assuredly mean more traffic for cyclists to watch out for.
