NORAD tracks Santa

I've been keeping a close eye on Santa's travles thus far, and currently he's covering none other than the country of France. The last spotting was just above Paris actually.

Read about the tracking of Santa on this FOX News item.

NORAD is the term is for what is known as the North American Aerospace Defense Command. This year marks the 50th anniversary NORAD has been tracking Santa. At 9 am CST today Santa was near Fiji, Japan clocking in at 100 times the speed of the 185 mph Bullet Train. Some serious wattage output!

Visit the NORAD Santa tracking website HERE. Seriously, check out the site. Each major region has a video with commentary.

If you go to the site you can watch video clips of Santa's travels. It's mentioned while Santa is going through France that there's the 2240 mile Tour de France taking place over three weeks time, but Santa travels 91,000 miles across the globe in just 24 hours.

Those bike racers have some catching up to do! No word yet on whether or not Santa will have to submit to doping controls after making his trot across the globe.
