HOWdeeee 100.....

What an amazing day! The HOW 100 ride to benefit the Minnie Pearl Cancer Foundation was a huge success. There 485 women riders who raised over $65,000 for cancer research. Incredible huh?! Every volunteer and participant should feel extremely proud at how well this event was pulled off.

A huge pat on the back goes to Shirley Cooper for raising over $5,500 while Regenia Moore (sp?) raised over $4,400. Awesome job ladies!

I was fortunate enough to be invited by the organizer to ride along, offer encouragement, take pictures, and provide help needed out on the road. The vibe out on the road was one of the coolest to be around. This was absolutely a "fun" ride, and without all the usual testosterone it made for a nice casual event that the men could learn a lot from.

I have countless pictures that will be posted on NC.com shortly. I would catch riders left and right, and each time slow down to chat for a minute and then snap a photo. Everyone was having a blast. I hope you enjoy the shots I got.
