2nd Juniors Clinic - August 16th
After yesterday's successful Juniors clinic and race we have decided to have another event on Wednesday, August 16th. This special JUNIORS coaching clinic and race is for all kids 18 years and younger. There will be a 30 minute coaching clinic with Todd Nordmeyer beginning at 5:30 PM with a a short 5 lap Juniors only race following the clinic.
The entire experience for Juniors will be FREE as registration will begin at 4:30 PM. Event release forms are required, as well as signatures from parents or legal guardians for kids under the age of 18. One-day licenses will be available for those who do not have an annual USA Cycling racing license, but the $10 one-day license fee will be waived allowing for a completely FREE event for Juniors!
The future of our sport relies on the support we provide for the younger generation. Please encourage and help all of our younger bike riders to come out and participate. Plus, it would be very exciting to the Juniors if all of the A and B racers showed up early to watch and cheer!
For those of you who attending last night you saw how fun it was to watch the younger kids race around the course. Some of of the youngest kids were the fastest ones on a bike! The wet conditions may have scared off a few families, but it did clear up and become entirely safe.
