Criterium Race #1 - Results

Wednesday night marked the first event of nine total criterium races this summer at LP Field in downtown Nashville. I'd consider week one a success as we expect the numbers to grow throughout the summer. Thank you to everyone who came out to race and everyone who stood around watching their friends or family. The spectators really make the atmosphere more enjoyable for the racers and add a spark to everyone's pedals.

I already have results posted along with the overall points standings. It's in an Excel file that should be readable by everyone. Notice the tabs at the bottom of the file. I have one each for results on June 21st, as well as overall points in each category for the finish and sprints.

Let me explain a few things about results in general. We will definitely provide the top 5 finishers for each category, and we will place everyone who is in the top 3 during any sprints during the race. The first woman finisher in the B race will be noted. All points associated with those finishes will be awarded accordingly.

Above and beyond that the official on duty and other helpers at the finish line will do their best to provide deeper placings. The depth of placings we provide doesn't mean those were the only ones that finished, but were the only ones we were able to get placed. Please don't get offended if we don't include your name within the results despite the fact that you finished the race. However, we'll do our best to place as many as possible each week.
