Zach B still racing

This weekend I had the chance to catch up with NashvilleCyclist.com diarist Zach Bolian. He was in Murphy, NC racing at 2 Hours from Anywhere and competing against Bjoern and Peter in the Pro 1/2 events. He's attending school at Furman University in Greenville, SC, which isn't far from Murphy. He said school is kicking his butt since he had taken a full year off to focus on racing. As they say, once you stop going it's hard to regain those study habits again.

Here's Zach in the red Krystal uniform with 2 laps to go at the criterium this weekend. He and 2 other guys had already lapped the field. The attack was countered quickly and Zach ended up taking 3rd place.

The Cumberland University team had another successful weekend in the Pro 1/2 and Cat 4 fields. I'll post those results later today.
