Is he, or isn't he?
As if all the reports from L'Equipe wasn't enough to sell papers and keep cycling in the news we now have Lance commenting on making a comeback. Maybe....maybe not. Two different stories, one on ESPN and the other on VeloNews, but the AP report on ESPN leans more toward a comeback while VeloNews' report is in the other direction.

I'm sure there are plenty of news reports out there with varying differences, but these two sum it up well enough. One thing we do know for sure is he's engaged to Sheryl Crow. This could also mean more interviews with her when we all thought his retirement meant hers for cycling interviews as well. If one returns so does the other.
Several things to add here. If he does make a comeback then how about seriously racing to win other races other than the Tour de France? Snub the TDF and do his usual Spring Classics, the Giro, the Vuelta and maybe Worlds? OR, how about going for the Pro Tour overall?
He would have to show up to win year around, and not just for three weeks in July. This would be much more interesting and exciting for the sport than him going for win number 8.
What would an 8th win mean anyway? If he really wants to prove the French wrong then go out and win every other race possible. All cycling fans would appreciate his greatness more if he undertook this challenge.
